减震器是轿车使用过程中的易损配件，其作业状况的好坏将直接影响轿车行进的平稳性和其他机件的寿命，因而咱们应使减震器常常处于杰出的作业状况。我们平常可用下列方法查验减震器的作业状况是否杰出。

1.使轿车在道路条件较差的路面上行进10公里后泊车，用手摸减震器外壳，假如不行热，阐明减震器内部无阻力，减震器不作业。此刻，可参加适量润滑油再进行实验，若外壳发热，则为减震器内部缺油，应加足润滑油；不然，阐明减震器失效。

4.拆减震器将其直立，并把下端衔接环夹于台钳上，用力拉压减震杆数次，此刻应有安稳的阻力，往上拉（恢复）的阻力应大于向下压时的阻力。如阻力不安稳或无阻力，可能是减震器内部缺油或阀门零件损坏，应进行修正或替换零件。
4. dismantling the shock absorber to stand it, and clamp the lower end link to the tongs, pull and press the shock rod several times. at the moment, it should have stable resistance. the resistance to the upward pull (recovery) should be greater than that of the downward pressure. if the resistance is unstable or unresisted, it may be that the shock absorber is defective in oil or valve parts, and parts should be modified or replaced.
5.在确定减震器有问题或失效后，应先检查减震器是否漏油或是否有陈旧性漏油的痕迹。
